    Enrollment Status

    Once your $300 enrollment deposit is submitted, our team will process it during regular business hours and change your status to "Confirmed." Paying your enrollment deposit confirms youre coming to Biola (congratulations!) and gives you access to other tasks on MyAccount.

  2. Set Up Your MyAccount Credentials

    How do I set up my MyAccount and email credentials?

    Once you've completed Step 1 to pay your enrollment deposit, go to your . Youll see personalized instructions guiding you through creating your Biola MyAccount and email credentials.

    Please wait until you see this step in your portal applicants will not be able to complete MyAccount setup until after admission.

  3. Log in to using your username and password

    What is MyAccount?

    MyAccount is Biolas online student portal where you'll find a personalized list of enrollment steps and resources. Go ahead and bookmark the site youll return to it frequently as you complete enrollment steps.

  4. Update your MyAccount credentials

    How do I update my multi factor authentication and password?

    When you have logged in to MyAccount, youll receive a prompt to download the Microsoft Authenticator app (or choose I want to set up a different method).

    Once you have set up your multi factor authentication (MFA), youll be redirected to update your password. Here, youll input the temporary password you were assigned (sent to you in an email) and change your password to a new, permanent one.

Finalize Your Student Profile

  1. Access your Biola email address via the assigned task on

    Log in to your email address

    To log in to your new Biola email address, find the task on MyAccount which will direct you to mail.biola.edu. Log in to your email address using the same username and password you use to log in to MyAccount (your username was sent to you in an email, and you should have created a permanent password when you first logged into MyAccount).

    Your Biola email address will be the main line of communication to receive important notifications and deadlines leading up to your first day of classes and throughout your time at Biola, so its important to get in the habit of checking your inbox.

    If you plan on living on campus, you will need to log-in to the StarRez Portal to apply for housing. Otherwise, log-in to the to complete the Intent to Commute form.

    We want to make sure you get off to a great start with your classes. Depending on your declared major, you may be asked to complete a placement exam. You will be notified by Academic Advising via  if you need to complete a placement exam. If a specific placement exam is needed to determine your first semester schedule, you may receive an email at your @biola.edu address for a reminder to complete the placement.

    Please note: Official high school transcripts are needed for B.S. students looking to count their high school foreign language credit. Learn more about the Biola language requirements based on degree type.

Steps to Complete Enrollment

Once you have submitted your enrollment deposit, additional tasks will be made available during the subsequent weeks and months. See our important enrollment dates calendar to familiarize yourself with task availability and deadlines. Once you have completed all of your assigned tasks, your status will change from "Not Enrolled" to "Enrolled." Additional enrollment tasks include:

Final Transcripts

Final transcripts for first-time freshmen and transfers are due prior to final enrollment, and must be sent directly from your high school or previous college to Biola. High school transcripts must be posted with a graduation date. Official transcripts are required to receive credit for transfer coursework and to determine correct loan eligibility.

Please note: High school transcripts are needed for transfer students looking to count their high school foreign language credit.

Final high school transcripts can be ordered electronically through an approved electronic vendor: Parchment/Naviance, Credentials Solutions and affiliate partners (Transcripts Network, Transcripts Plus, eScrip-Safe), and AACRAO's SPEEDE server (send to admissions.transcripts@biola.edu).

Transfer Course Evaluation

If you are transferring 15+ units from a community college or other four-year institution and you have not yet received a transfer course evaluation, please connect with the Transfer Admissions team at transfer.admissions@biola.edu or 1-800-OK-BIOLA.

Verify Housing

To ensure your financial aid package is accurate, you will need to verify whether or not you intend to live in campus housing. 

Students who are younger than 21 years old by the first day of fall classes are required to live on campus OR commute from their parents'/guardians' home for both fall and spring semesters.

Health Insurance

Biola requires all students who fall into one of the following categories to have health insurance, either student health insurance through Gallagher or private eligible health insurance:

  • Traditional undergraduate students,
  • International undergraduate and graduate students on F1 visas,
  • Undergraduate or graduate students who will live in Biola-owned housing,
  • All Rosemead School of Psychology graduate students, or
  • Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) students within the Talbot School of Theology.

If this applies to you, you will have the option in to confirm your enrollment in the Student Health Insurance Plan OR to submit a waiver if you already have coverage that meets Biolas waiver criteria. Learn more about requirements, deadlines and student insurance.

Health Tasks

Please go to to view the health task. You will be directed to your confidential health portal (biola.medicatconnect.com). Log in with your NetID and password and complete the following Health Center requirements:

  • Step 1: From the navigation menu on the left side of your home screen (from your cell phone the three lines in the left upper corner), click on Forms tab and complete the mandatory health forms which include:
    • Health History Form
    • Meningitis Advisory Form
    • Notice of Privacy Practices Form
    • Tuberculosis Screening Questionnaire Form
  • Step 2: From the navigation menu on the left side of your patient portal home screen (from your cell phone the three lines in the left upper corner), click on the Upload header, and follow the prompts to upload a copy of your full vaccine records which must include:
    • TWO required doses of the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine OR an MMR titer (blood test) showing proof of immunity.
    • At least ONE required dose of the Meningitis ACYW vaccine (i.e. Menactra, Menveo), given on or after your 16th birthday, for all students living in Biola owned housing. (This does NOT apply to married or family housing.) 

Important Note: Undergraduate students who do not submit all requirements within 30 days of the start of the upcoming semester will see a $200 fine applied to their student account. New students (freshman or transfer students) will receive a one semester grace period.

Important Note to Minors: In addition to filling out the required electronic health forms, students who are minors must print, fill out and submit the following forms to the Health Center. Forms can be submitted by email to health.center@biola.edu, by mail to attn: Biola Student Health Center, 13800 Biola Ave, La Mirada, CA 90639, by fax at (562) 906-4512 or in person.

Important Note to Athletes: In addition to the required health forms, new student-athletes must complete and submit directly to the Athletics Department. Physical examinations may be completed at the Health Center; a physical exam fee applies.

Update your Title IV Authorization

Updating your Title IV Authorization will show up as one of your tasks through . Title IV funds are federal student aid funds (Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans, Direct PLUS Loans, Federal Pell Grants, etc.) administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Unless you grant additional permission, The U.S. Department of Education regulations only allow schools to use your Federal Student Aid to pay for current academic year institutional charges. Federal Title IV funds do not include scholarships from the university.

The U.S. Department of Education requires that Title IV funds be applied to specific allowable charges, including: tuition, mandatory fees, and room and board billed by the University. If your total bill exceeds available Title IV funds, you must grant authorization of these funds to non-qualifying charges.

Get your Digital Eagle ID

The Eagle ID is your official student identification card and required for access to a variety of university resources. Eagle ID uses include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Access to secured buildings
  • On-campus dining using meal plans, flex dollars and student dollars
  • Library privileges
  • Chapel attendance and event check-in
  • Fitness Center membership
  • Retail purchases at the Biola Store
  • Biola Shuttle transportation
  • Print and copy services

New incoming students will receive an email invite to submit a photo for their student ID. Submit your ID Photo Online You can quickly and easily submit a photo of your choice to be used on your Eagle ID. You can add your Eagle ID to Apple Wallet on your iPhone and/or Apple Watch or to Google Pay on your Android phone. Explore the ID Card Office webpage for more info.

  • Living on campus? Start thinking about a dorm room setup and explore move-in instructions to plan for coming to campus this fall! Theres a Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Staples, Home Depot, Marshalls and more all within four miles of Biolas campus.
  • Look for a local church to become involved in. Our desire is that you'll be connected to a local church during your time at Biola. Explore local churches and begin thinking about ways to connect and serve.
  • Make note of important dates on the Academic Calendar, including your first day of class and semester breaks.
  • Grab some Biola gear! T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and more find  for you and your crew.
